Xumii Blog For The Socially Mobile

You can give gifts to that special someone on Xumii, whether you’re chatting directly or browsing their Mobile Wall.

Giving gifts during a chat session

1. From the main menu of Xumii choose “Find Friends.”
2. Select your available contact.
3. In the menu select “chat.”
4. While you’re talking with your friend, you’ll want to give them a gift!
5. Click on “Options,” then “Send gift.”
6. You’ll open up the gift menu with a list of available gifts. Select your gift–you have the option of sending it or previewing it. When you’re ready  select “send gift.”
7. In the Enter Message menu write a message to accompany your gift.
8. Select “Apply.” Your friend has now received their gift!

Post a gift on your friends’ wall

1. If your friend has a Xumii account, they’ll also have a wall. You’ll be able to post gifts and leave messages for them on this wall whether they’re online or not.
2. From the main menu of Xumii select “Find Friends.”
3. Select the Xumii tab. Select your Xumii friend.
4. Select “wall” from the pop-up menu.
5. When viewing their wall, click “Options.”
6. Select “Post gift.”
7. Select the gift you want to give your friend. In the pop up menu select “send gift.”
8. You can edit the accompanying message as you wish, then select “Apply.”
9. Your gift will now be posted on their wall for everyone to see!
